It's not that I don't have anything to write about. There's the cruise I took with my family last month, the state of my film work, the flooding of my street and my car and the NEAR flooding of my apartment, the fact that I'm going to turn 30 in seven days...
The list goes on.
I, however, have just been sitting here staring at a blank screen trying to figure out where to begin. Maybe by writing about my lack of drive to write, something will come of it.
If anything, it's another blog post that will hopefully break my writing funk and get me back into the swing of things. My blog isn't the only thing suffering either. I can't seem to get back into the habit of writing ANYTHING!
Not to say that I can't write, or can't come up with ideas. Actually, I think my problem is that I have far too many ideas and not enough of a filter to work on just one thing at a time.
See, the way my mind works, I just seem to flitter from one thing to the next, not always finishing my previous project before I shift to the next. This leaves me with a few hundred unfinished projects.
If I could just finish one thing, get it out there for the world to see, I think that might help.
But I'm rambling about nothing, as I'm so prone to do. So I'll end things here.
If anything, Jeff will be happy that I wrote a blog.
